    Playoff push franchise help

Okay, so I am 66-42 in my first season with the Reds and have played every game. I have made 3 deals so far this season.

    Reds get:
    Dexter Fowler
    Esmil Rogers

    Rockies get:
    Edison Volquez
    Drew Stubbs

That trade saved me some money plus got me younger and I'm just not that good pitching with Volquez

    Trade 2

    Reds get:

    Rafeal Soriano

    Yankees get:

    Cordero

    Trade 3

    Reds get:
    Jose Reyes

    Mets Get:
    Travis Wood
    Zach Cozart
    Chris Heisey

    So here is my lineup

    1. Jose Reyes SS
    2. Dexter Rowler CF
    3. Joey Votto 1B
    4. Jay Bruce RF
    5. Juan Duran LF (Called up the first of July)
    6. Scott Rolen/Juan Fransico 3B
    7. Brandon Phillips 2B ( put him down in the order because he is playing bad)
    8. Hannigan/Hernandez

    Rotation:

    1. Cueto
    2. Bailey
    3. Leake
    4. Willis
    5. Rogers

    Pen:
    Lecure
    Bray
    Chapman
    Maloney
    Soriano

So here is my dilemma, I have Yonder Alonso sitting in AAA and I'm thinking about trading Votto for a legit number one pitcher and a couple of good young relievers. Any thoughts on if I should do it and if so any thoughts on what teams to deal with
What if signatures didn't mean anything?

So, you want to trade your best player that will help you make a playoff run this year and for years to come, for an ace starter? If Votto was in the last year of his deal and you knew he wasn't coming back fine, but other than that, don't trade him. You don't need a ratings ace to win. Go play a lot of games with different teams and find somebody like a Matt Garza or Jason Vargas that you are really good with that won't cost you someone like Votto.
    EPL - Arsenal
    MLB - Seattle Mariners
    NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers
    NFL - Philadelphia Eagles
    MLS - Seattle Sounders

You ripped the yankees off. Lol

But considered trading Yonder and another prospect for a solid starter with a good contract. If jiminez is still on the rockies in your franchise then trade for him with Yonder, 2 B prospects or 1 B and 1 C prospects for Jimenez and see if theyd throw in Houston Street or another good or decent reliever.

I'm not an expert on the reds, but a move you could entertain is moving Yonder Alonso to RF, Bruce to CF, and Fowler to LF.

Bruce has the speed, as does fowler. Yuo could even move Fowler to center, and bruce to left. Alonso has a decent arm, so it could work out.
