    28-32 4th quarter - 3sec left on my own 30.

Ask coach.. tells me to go for all (of course, there are only 3 sec left).

Hail Mary on all 3 plays options.

What would you call on Defense?

Prevent, of course.. or at least something with 4 DB down field at least..

What the CPU calls? Cover 2...Zone!! DOH...

the S was literally against 3 WR ... result...

I scored... 70yds TD won the game.

    Casual gamers would be jumping..

I turn off the game and quit.

I've had the same thing happen to me. 3rd and 20+... I'm in SG with 4 wide. CPU comes out in 4-3 cover 1 and blitzing?!?!? I call all verticals and get an easy first down. Very annoying...

I made a CPB for each type of defense and removed all-out blitzes along with cover 2 zones. I use two controllers and assign a CPB to the CPU before each game. I even made CPB's for different offensive styles.

Did I enjoy making them? Absolutely not! It took about 30 minutes per offensive playbook and 15 per defensive. So I spent about 5 hours over a few days making playbooks.

Has it been worth it? Without a doubt!

          Was the game on heisman?

If it wasn't, you aren't playing the game correctly anyways.

Heisman level did that many times, but since the S are Psychic DB they can cover 3 WR

Yeah, I have had similar things happen. It is really a buzz kill. I know that programming AI is a challenge, so I tend to be forgiving with a lot of the CPU's head scratching decisions...But game changers like this really make it tough to enjoy the game.

I have posted in other threads that I would like to see them reduce the size of the playbooks if it means that gameplay could be tightened down (all plays with a realistic success/failure rate, CPU making better calls etc.)

Love the mean spirited snarky replies. Heisman is lame, btw.

The OP did the right thing. What a stupid result.
