Re: Celebrations
Not to hijack the thread, but I keep waiting for them to put back penalties on excessive celebrations...is this a thing of the past since they actually put work into celebrations? Would seem counter-productive to put the penalties back in. -

Re: Celebrations
i think they removed it cause they didnt want to promote any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct in the game...Comment

Re: Celebrations
The hardest part about this, the users constantly demand a more realistic and lifelike game. The minute something like celebrations are taken out people demand them back because it is a video game and not real life. Almost a no-win for the video game makers.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: Celebrations
I really doubt anyone meant they wanted celebrations removed when they said they wanted a more realistic game. And besides, players in real life still have the ability to celebrate. They just might get flagged if they do. We don't even have the option.
I don't really care either way though. Celebrations are the least of my concerns when it comes to this game.Comment

Re: Celebrations
The sad thing is, if celebrations were put back in the game, inevitably, threads would pop up claiming that game isn't "sim" enough since the NCAA doesn't allow celebrations anymore. People would be up in arms over celebrations not being a realistic aspect of football and ruining immersion.
I agree that they should be back in, though.Comment

Re: Celebrations
I think EA needs to give the user the option to celebrate, but the threat of a penalty would add more to the realism of the game than taking celebrations out.
Being able to celebrate, but adding a penalty for anything excessive would please both crowds.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: Celebrations
What's really odd is I'm pretty sure there's a loading screen telling you that you can celebrate with the mascot, even though you can't.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Celebrations
Am i the only one who noticed the game hints while a game is loading? One of them clearly says " When scoring a touchdown, run towards the mascot to celebrate. " It says something to that extent... EA Fail.Comment
