FIFA 12 Creation Centre Info

The info has been out for awhile now, but I don't think anybody here has mentioned it. Sounds very promising. Only negative thing is that we have to pay for certain features to work.

In 25 days, the new Creation Centre site will launch, and here are some of the changes we can expect to see.


Create a Tournament
The ability to use custom images as team crest and shirt sponsor
More shirt models and colours
More appearance options for player creation
More accessories
The ability to use licensed players, teams and stadiums
Much more
Some decent new additions, there is however a caveat.
*Some of the new features and functionality require the purchase of a PDLC entitlement.

Does anyone know if the kit creation options are available for use in online clubs? It would cool to have the OS logo as the team crest or OperationSports.com as the kit sponsor.

That would be pretty slick.

This feature wasn't very well implemented last year, right? Hopefully they've ironed out all the kinks like they say, and give us more options.

I'm getting ready to try to get back into Fifa 11 just to make PES12 feel new to me when it drops, and hopefully get into Fifa enough to warrant a Fifa 12 purchase.

I thought it worked okay last year, there were a lot of teams available new and old, but I was frustrated by how slow and clunky the web interface was for it. I hope they fix that, but I doubt it. Create a Tournament sounds pretty cool...I'd just like to create tournaments where I can choose where the game is and the time and weather...is that too much to ask for?

a bit more good news regarding this year's creation center. Per Romily Broad's (FIFA team) twitter, we will be able to use created leagues in Career Mode. Also more info on that coming soon.

Is it true we need the Season Ticket to use custom images and some of the other creation options? $25 seems a bit steep, especially considering NCAA's version allows for similar customization for no extra charge.

Access to the special features of creation center are included if you have the season ticket. However, I believe you'll be able to gain access with a small dlc purchase as well. Probably a couple bucks, if that

No, but the FAQ says it should be an option, so I hope they get it sorted soon.

What about all my teams and players in FIFA 11?
All of your FIFA 11 assets will remain unchanged. You will still be able to download them as is to your console, or edit them and re-save them as FIFA 12 assets through the Creation Centre Web Application.

The only thing I seen was 6.99 in uk pounds. So whatever that translates to

That's about $12, or almost half the price of Season Ticket. Assuming that is the correct price, of course.

Damn. Thats expensive. Maybe I seen it wrong. It was in a thread over on the EA boards.
