    Peyton Hillis to Fullback?

Anybody planning to move coverboy Peyton Hillis to fullback in their franchise?

Among the four franchises I'll be playing (Dolphins, Bengals, Lions, Browns), one of them is with the Browns and I'll be moving Hillis to FB and adding a quicker HB to form a 1-2 punch. I love having a fullback with good trucking to punch it up the middle.

Hillis fits that mold perfectly. Anyone else doing the same?

He played fullback at arkansas, you should get McFadden and reunite that backfield. McFadden won a heisman doing the same thing you're talking about. good move.

I'm rly looking forward to using Hillis this year and would hate to waste his talent at FB. Just not enough plays for him for me to be happy at that position. Besides you will just slide him back to HB after McFadden gets injured in your chise. Lol

I see him working like Mike Alstott, incorporate some FB runs into your playbook and you can have a great 1-2 punch in your backfield.

Exactly like Alstott. If I can acquire a fast/elusive back I'll feature the...

            Warrick Dunn/Mike Alstott
            Mercury Morris/Larry Csonka

            Style of rushing attack.

Ahh the days of Dunn and Alstott, good memories.

Just curious, what backs were you looking to require? This has me interested to maybe try a Browns franchise. I could see Leon Washington being a great fit.

ppl seem to overlook my man Hardesty..he is solid in just about every phaze of the running back position..he has above average elusivness..big physical..yet agile..and he as a quick burst,,to create seperation and decent enough speed to take it all the way..I think he has the potential to be better than Hillis

Devin Hester to running back (98 SPD, 98 ACC, 97 AGL, 99 ELU, 96 SPM, 98 JMV). Haha JK... or maybe not, but it would be fun if he had a better carry rating.

Washington could be a good fit. What I'll probably do is end up playing through the first season with either Hardesty at HB, or a stopgap guy such as Clinton Portis, and then look to the draft for my ideal speed/elusive back.

I've also entertained the thoughts (though not seriously) of trading for either Chris Johnson (Mr. Contract Holdout) or Reggie Bush (but him being a new Dolphin makes that an unlikely scenario for me).

                      Re: Peyton Hillis to Fullback?

Being a Bronco's fan I discovered Hillis back in Madden 10. Didn't do much in Mcdanials system. Canned Mcdanials after first season and hired Bruce Arians from Steelers as HC, naturally went with Steelers playbooks and Hillis was a beast in that system.
Did same for Madden 11, picked up Hillis in FA and used him as FB, HB, and outside TE in close formations [situational]. Awesome weapon, huge playmaker for me. Should fit nicely in a two back system.

I'd love to have a Hillis/CJ2K punch for my Titans.

What about Brandon Jackson? I think I would give him a shot at least as the full time 3rd down back and maybe more if he warrants it. I can see the comparisons of Hillis and Alstott, and just like in past Maddens when I had Alstott on my team, Hillis is just too good to move to FB at this point in his career.
“As we express gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” - for the uninformed, it's a quote from JFK on Thanksgiving.
