They won't be this year unfortunately. Strictly a promotional package to pre ordering with gamestop.

You sure about this? I recall reading that they would be available to everyone, for free, later on, which makes sense.

They said maybe. There was no 100% confirmation on when or if they would be released.

Did they ever say how they'd be released? Title update or DLC? I can't imagine EA's gonna pay for a 3rd title update unless this mythical 2nd one totally breaks everything (*NCAA 11 cough cough*).

what if i pre ordered from gamestop but never picked it up yet.. am i still eligible to get the code to get these uniforms?

ended up getting from amazon for $20 off so didnt need the gamestop pickup

If you have preordered from Gamestop and have yet to pick it up, then they have more than likely dropped your pre order. You usually have like a week or 48 hours to pick it up. Or here it does at least.

I don't think that you will get them for free, but it definately will not be anytime soon, we do not even have the patch yet. If they do put them up it will be D/L content that you will have to pay for.

I am honestly interested in why EA doesn't make more uniforms available through DLC. They could charge .99 cents for uniform downloads and people would buy them like crazy. Washington's home jerseys were not updated this year, but honestly, if EA put them up for DLC, I'd buy them.

I don't want to argue about whether they should charge for them or not. That's kind of moot; I'm just seriously curious why they haven't done this yet because tons of people asked the same question last year and people said that they would pay.

Maybe they can't do it for some reason...

The Gamestop preorder code is written on the receipt usually, but pickups are only held by the store for 48 hours after the original release date, assuming you preordered it.

this is exactly what they should do. update every uniform and include the new pro combat uniforms as a DLC for maybe 2 bucks or something idk..

Yeah, free. I got them for free last year when I got a PS3 in April. Never played the demo, shared it, or anything. I just loaded up the game and all the PCs were there.
