Wow...is anyone having fun with this yet?

I got the game a week early, playing the game in franchise mode...Loving it!!!!

I come in here and read all the negative stuff and the little irritations and how people are making such a huge deal...all I can say is WOW....

I guess I need to stop visiting as this forum right now is as depressing as watching the evening news.

The game is not perfect nor will it ever be.....I am enjoying it and not going to worry about every little issue...

Have fun guys and enjoy the game for what it is....

I guess now I need to prepare to because the sky is not falling Chicken Little!!!!!

Only played the demo so far, but I love Madden 12. I hope all these bad reviews don't make the developers think they're not making progress, because this is definitely a step in the right direction. This game is a hell of a lot more realistic than Madden 11.

for folks like me whos last madden purchase was 09, this has been fun. the graphics are nice, and the extra depth in franchise mode is just what the doctor ordered.

Just got it yesterday using EA pass and I'm liking it a lot. Then again I've always enjoyed Madden lol.

Haven't bought Madden since 08, and I am definately buying Madden 12. The gameplay might not be like NFL 2K5, but its football and just have to work around it. What kept me from buying Madden in the past since 08 was the Franchise mode. The Franchise mode will give this game replay value and that is all that I am interested in.

I am sorry but I do not hold the NFL 2K5 in as high of regard as some in the forum do..Presentation was great...gameplay lacked alot in my opinion...I watched a friend of my sack a qb 13 times in a game.

I am just stating I have enjoyed both football games from EA this year, nothing is perfect and I have not had some of the issues that some are complaining about.

I am having a blast playing and hope everyone else is too....

I hate how this is someone's reaction every time someone says something critical. People can be as negative or positive as they want. You can express your love for the game without calling everyone else miserable.

Not killing your joy but have you looked at these threads....everything seems to be critical....3 of 4 threads seem to be complaints about well....everything. They act as if nothing is right. I just happen to disagree and was wondering if everyone really felt that way.

The people who are being critical just have actual expectations. Sadly, some of them will still buy the game.

People have different views. Like you said yourself, maybe you shouldn't visit the forums if it's really bothering you that much. That's what these forums are here for, to share opinions. The ratio is going to sway one way or another, more than likely, so there's no sense in even sweating it. I'm glad you like the game. I myself haven't played it yet, but I'm excited to play it Tuesday. However, if people have the game and have negative impressions, it is what it is. Now, if they DON'T have the game and are giving negative impressions, then you have a right to call these folks out. Your positive posts are important because it is nice to see some positive reviews. But as a consumer, it's helpful to hear the good and the bad to make an informed decision.

Having fun with a game and having things technically correct are two different things for some people while they go hand in hand for others. The good thing is most of the reviews have said the game has flaws but its fun to play, which is all that matters to me. I've had the game for a few days now and I am having fun playing it. I can overlook a few flaws if the enjoyment level is there

I'm not going to call you or anyone else stupid for playing the game. I'm just saying I myself, and many other purists (so to speak) on this board are not willing to overlook several glaring mistakes made each year by the team at EA.

I bought Madden every year last gen, but this gen the only one I've bought was Madden 10. I had it for about two weeks. Then they released the patch that broke sim stats and I traded it in.

I know it's not possible for the team at EA to get absolutely everything right, but they're batting about 50% at this point, and that's simply not getting it done IMO.
