(Requesting) Madden 12 Draft Class Guide

A Madden 12 Draft Class Guide is currently in the works. The guide is being created by CFraychineaud and rdm1800. CFraychineaud has created the Head Coach '09 and Madden 10 draft class guides. Rdm1800 has created the Madden 11 draft class guide.

CFraychineaud and rdm1800 have joined forces to create a draft class guide for Madden 12. Madden 12 has randomized player names and jerseys, so their workload has been very heavy. I, and I'd assume everyone reading this, is extremely appreciative of them.

The two have released a beta version of their guide to a few people to test it out. Their guide should be public as soon as it's ready.

Maybe for you. For me, after getting sick of regular Madden, I find a player or two that I want to build a franchise around. So it actually adds to the longevity of the game for me.

You probably won't get one because the hand crafted draft classes now have random names assigned, would be a lot more difficult to do a draft guide because of that.

There won't be any guide, because there's no way to name the draft years or predict the name of any player who profiles well as a prospect.

You're gonna have to scout, dude!

Of course, if you still want to. . . ahem . . . bend the game to your will, you can always jest edit your players' abilities. Kinda stops being a game at that point, though.

Why did they randomize the names? Is it because of online franchises?

I don't play online franchises and always loved the way they did it before. Weird how Madden always changes things that I don't want changed, whereas NHL, The Show, and NBA 2K always add to the game instead of changing.

If this were any of those other development teams, they would have given the choice to randomize or not for offline franchises.

Height, Weight, and College aren't randomized, though
I'm not a fan of these threads, but it still looks possible with just a bit more work.

Yeah it'll just be a few extra days/weeks until this years guide is done. Also the OF names aren't randomized.

Why do people want stuff handed to them on a plate like this? It just makes the scouting totally redundant, when it really is a great feature. Randomized names in draft classes is of the best thing to happen in franchise mode this year.

Why can't people like what they want to like? I don't understand why it has to be one way or the other.

I absolutely hate scouting, in every game including NCAA or other sports. I have no interest in it. I like putting my players on the field and playing. I like to know their exact ratings. That's just how it is for me.

Also, if you think randomized naming is the best thing to happen in franchise mode, then this game has problems.

Oh it does have problems. I don't quite get your point here.

I didn't say people can't like what they want to like, it's just my opinion that knowing everything beforehand is just takes away a whole aspect of the game. It's like going to play an RPG game like Fallout/Oblivion, and knowing EVERYTHING beforehand, from where to get the best armor, weapons and strategies for bosses etc. But that is my opinion totally.

I haven't gotten my copy of the game yet (should be here this evening), but I may look into doing another guide if it's possible with the random names.

In a way, I was somewhat glad that they randomized so I wouldn't be as tempted to make a guide and use it this year.

If I do end up making one, I'll be posting it here again, of course.

Its going to be hard to get the draft class , madden 12 has a deeper way to reveal players ratings...Only way i can see is for people to advance the whole season and look back at the players
