Offline Question
 

I am trying to decide to buy this game. I have bought it every year. How does the offline franchise play?? I want to control my Bears but am unsure weather to buy the game or not

There seems to be a problem with teams signing a bunch of fake generated players to fill out their training camp roster, then cutting legit NFL vets in favor of keeping these fake players with ratings in the 40's. This starts in year 1. The work around, apparently, is controlling all 32 teams and making their cuts for them. I have no desire to do this, and if it's not fixed with a patch, I'll be strictly NCAA this year.

Gameplay-wise, I haven't read too many complaints, actually. The commentrary is still lame and the crowd noise seems muffled/hard to hear. Take that for what its worth, I haven't started a franchise, and haven't had too much time behind the sticks just yet ;)
