Have any of you had success with a Left-handed QB?

I only ask because I tend to go into practice before the 1st game of every season to see some of the new players in action.

And a Freshman QB who I redshirted the prior year is left-handed (I didn't check).

Totally changes the way you're used to playing with a righty.

I don't see the problem ive had plenty of lefty qbs over the years. Only difference is PA bootlegs and role outs need to go left instead of right.

Of course it would just look at Vick in the NFL, he can struggle to throw across his body sometimes and sometimes defenses even try to plug certain sides of the field to rain on his parade.

Having said that, I've never recrutied (or had) a lefty at QB but it would be fun.

My first season in my dynasty that I've been posting here, my lefty QB and my righty QB were equally interception prone.

I don't know if that's success, but they sucked equally?

I have just as much success with lefties as righties. For me personally the only difference is on certain roll out plays or play actions I just have to flip to make throws fluid and smooth. For instance, rolling right with a left handed qb my throws arent as accurate unless one stops completely and so forth.

You should be fine... once you get past the mental aspect of it. Lefties in college have been successful in real life too. From the old days w/ guys like Frankie Albert, Terry Baker - 1962 Heisman winner. Kenny Stabler, David Humm, and Steve Young all did great things, won a lot of games, including big bowl games and then of course there are more recent people like Vick and Pat White as well as many more.

Besides... if you're doing what any real QB does, and have your eyes focused down the field, you won't see which hand the guy throws with anyway.

I don't think I've played with a left handed QB on this game. I can't imagine it would make any difference but I'll give it a try.

Well, aside from Kellen (who is god-mode in this game), I've never really had a lefty. Are there even lefty recruits?

Either way, I hate it. Always forget when I play as BSU.

I don't know what it is about Moore, but he never seems to play to his ratings with me. He's 1 point off Luck, but I will throw 3 INTs a game with Moore.
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

It's different but it's not a reason to lose. Just need to keep in mind to prefer rolling out and take all your boot legs to your left instead of your right. It really helps to put your best pass blockers on the left.
