Concussions
 

A few months ago, there was an article highlighting concussions in Madden. I haven't seen anything where they were highlighted at all. Has anyone seen anything about them in Madden?

Been playing a lot of "play now" games, and have seen a couple of players leave the game with concussions. Haven't started a franchise yet, so can't speak to how they are handled there.

Ive had a few concussions in my franchise.


Do you really care where I sent this from?

I have seen 2 concussions in my 9 franchise games. 1 on the cpu team and 1 on my team. They sat out the rest of the game but were fine for the next game.

Ill havd to go back and read the article but I coulda swore it said that there would be prominent mention in the game.

Yeah I have been looking for them and have not seen any.

When I was playing as the Vikings, Chad Greenway got a concussion, and was unable to be used in the game from that point forward. He did not land on the Injury Report, and was able to play the following week.

Basically Madden was trying to cash in on PR by issuing a statement about the concussions etc. All it does in-game is automatically make the player 'Out for Game'.
