Is it me, or has the trade logic become completely ridiculous?

I've had pick 1.7 and tried to trade up to 1.4. I included another late round 1st and a 2nd. Not interested. So I took out the 2nd and put in my next year's 1st. Not interested. I took that out and added a rookie WR from the season before (86 OVR). Not interested. I then attempted all types of trades... I even made two rookies from the last season (HB and QB) and made them both 99OVR. Tried to trade those 2 guys plus my 1.7.. Not interested, even though the team needed HB and QB help.

I finally give up. Then when the 1.4 pick comes up, it gets traded to another CPU team. 1.4 for 1.8 and 2.8. No joke. I almost screamed.

Trade logic for Madden 12 has been made almost impossible, and it really cripples the franchise mode.

It's too easy to accumulate draft picks when trading down. But in your case when you're trying to move up, you're 100% right. It's impossible.

Heh it's not as bad the Free Agency trade logic. Season 1 Eagles are looking for a MLB. Lofa Tatupu is available for the first 3 weeks. So what do I do? I take him through FA and trade him to the Eagles for RMC with their 3rd and 4th round pick for that years draft...

You wanna see bad trade logic? Sim up to week six. Trade all 7 of your picks, straight up, with the team with the worst record. Done deal.

Teams put no value in their draft spots in accordance with their current season record.
