Has anyone else gone through a randomly generated draft class and seen the 99s? Off the top of my head, the Vikings, Panthers, and Titans had late drafted QBs who all wound up being 99 overall rated when the 1st game of the actual season started...I know about late round gems but c'mon.

I have seen 99? before the ratings are revealed (and then it is much lower), but even if I create a rookie it with all 99s in NCAA it doesn't end up as a 99 in Madden, so no that's new to me.
In the randomly generated classes that Madden creates I haven't seen anything close to a 99 - IE the NCAA classes are always much higher.Last edited by Pandetta; 09-05-2011, 09:15 PM. -

I have seen weird ratings like a 99 on one screen. Believe it was goodson from panthers. he was listed as 99 on depth chart (at rb not 3rd down back) but we was listed correctly on roster management screen."When life gives you lemons find some tequila and do some shots"Comment

Yeah I thought it was them just covering up the ratings as well but they weren't oranged out or anything. I'm actually playing through the same franchise when I got these results. I just summed through the rest of my games to see what the offseason was like (so I didn't save it). So if the ratings of the rookies are locked in I'll post some screens of it when the time comes. But yeah, unless they had rookies that progressed like 30 points during pre season there is no way that should have happened.Comment

Any ratings that are organge are not real. After 1 draft the highest rookie I saw was 86. For rookies you can't trust any ratings because they are usually gonna change once you play with them.Comment
