Coaching Contracts and It's Affect on Carousel

I want to start a dynasty with a pitiful school, and build them up, but I don't want to get fired while I'm doing so. I like the coaching carousel idea, so I still would like to see coaching movement between other schools though. I'm basically trying to get the best of both worlds for this situation. So, if you turn off coaching contracts, is there still a coaching carousel in the offseason?

I am fairly sure there is no Carousel with contracts turned off, you could always keep restarting until the cupcake school you want to build up offers you a 3 year contract.

I am doing the same thing but due to a bug that EA hasnt patched I can't advance to the offseason in my offline dynasty...

try creating your coach in the roster file BEFORE starting the dynasty... that way you can control your prestige... that MIGHT make it more likely that you will keep your job if your % dips a bit (haven't tested this but it's what I will try because I felt like I got the shhhhhhhhaft in my pre-patch dynasty)
