Scouting?? This is confusing
 

Before we begin, I already saw the other scouting tips thread. I'm playing a franchise with two other people so controlling all other 29 teams would be a major hassle and time waster.

Now the scouting system seemed more involved and I liked that, but something's just not right here. In a pro day it says I can unlock ratings such as throw accuracy, catch, etc. So why is it if I scout 20 receivers on a pro day, none of their catch attributes come up? Or if I scout an other position throughout ALL of the scouting periods, none of their relevant stats are unlocked. Like for corners and safeties, I spent all my scouting time on them one year and the only useful ratings I got were from the ones I used an individual workout on.

I'm just confused as to how this is supposed to work. Is this a bug or a glitch? Someone please help me out.

I agree. The only players I have been successfully able to scout are running backs.
