2k12 must maintain the balance of 2k11 online....

I LOVE the fact that im able to do this to Heat/LA spin abusers on a regular basis. IMO, 2k11 is one of the most balanced bball games all time as far as online play....hope the trend continues!

      53-35 I believe....

Wade scored all his points in the 4th

If fatigue mattered it would be even worse for them. I played a Heat user who was at the free throw line all day with Lebron. His freethrow release is so easy.

I agree about fatigue needing to play more of a factor in 2k12.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

It happen a lot to me too ... but what irked me the most was that all his fouls were while I did contest and the AI made my player jump towards him with one hand instead of staying put with both hands up, therefor, causing an unwanted contact.

FTs should be now ok with the tweaks they made in within and hopefully with the new contest system, the situation depicted above (of an unwanted animation that caused such a killer effect) does not happens. Jump is get in the air, contest is put your hands up without living the floor.

Getting back on topic, I do believe that despite my huge lack of stick skills, 2k11 was a game that let you dominate on both ends if you had the basketball knowledge and the stick skills ... I had just a few, due to my lack of the later.

            P.S:
To the OP ... How do you prevent or counter the spin moves ? specially those infamous seen in some videos posted here at OS ? ... No zone or charge attempt or eurostep defense schemes work with spins, at least not to me ... then again, my stick skills could be the reason.

Me too. I think that after certain people do a big dunk/block/make a big run, their stamina bar should drop waaayy down for the time being.

That might be too extreme, but if you continuously attack the paint and their are multiple defenders in the paint that should lower your stamina more than an easy lay up or dunk.

see the stuff people complain about can be countered but alot of cats dont wanna learn how to play the game they want to role play what they think its supposed to look like instead...

If HOF lobby and ranked games are still 5 min quarters I'm not really going to count on it. Hopefully fatigue is tied to live ball physics which could make a user pay for overdribbling in traffic causing more turnovers. In 2k11 it seems the end result is more a trip to the freethrow line.

Whenever Wade or Bron would spin.....if they didnt charge or lose the ball....they had Boozer sitting there waiting on them to alter the shot....they were successful 1-2 times each.

2K8 was the best IMO. That year my teams online were Grizzlies before the Pau trade, and Kings (Artest on defense was ridiculous) after. Sometimes some Hornets sprinkled in. I haven't felt like I've been able to manhandle abusive, pedestrian opponents like I did on 2K8 in the years since.
