Week 2 : Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets

I think this is a game the Jaguars could win, but I don't think it's likely. The Jaguars will hold the Jets running game in check. But with Cox out with an injury, unless they can rattle Sanchez into making his usual mistakes I see him taking advantage of the injury and putting up 3 TD's, one thrown to Keller.

The Jets know they have to stop MJD, and I think he gets about 75 yards on 26 carries, with more catches than last week as they work screens or throw to him as a checkdown.

McCown could have a better day than last week if they put Thomas in the slot to keep him away from Revis and utilize Marcedes down the field.

I just see the Jets having more big plays in the passing game, that will put it just out of reach for a Jaguars victory. But the rest of the game will be very hard fought.

I see it being a close game. I have to do more research until I can put out a score, but I think it's a close one.

I think it will be close, but the only way Jacksonville is going to win is if the defense that was put together this offseason steps up in a real big way, sacking Sanchez enough to keep big guys like Burress from dominating our CBs.

Mathis will get burnt hard at least once this game.

After the injuries this week, I don't think the Jags can win this. Missing Lewis is a big blow that will affect both the rushing and passing game. Hopefully Britton coming back will be able to help, but Miller and Potter are not as good of blockers as Lewis.

The DL should be able to stop the run, but missing Cox may hurt and the DL will need to get pressure. If the Jags miss Cox in the secondary, then it could be a long day.
