Well, in Madden he would miss 12 weeks.

"WR Marques Colston has a fracture in his collarbone and a small plate was inserted into the bone. Expect Colston to miss four weeks."

FOUR? Madden thinks a broken collarbone is at LEAST 12... I should know, I have 3 players with broken collarbones.

Who did Madden consult for their injury healing times? It sure wasn't a doctor.

On a completely related matter... am I the only one seeing 40% of injuries being broken collarbones? Is this really that prevalent in the NFL? Is there a weak collarbone epidemic I've missed?

For the record Ray Rice broke his in my 32 team chise.

10 weeks.

Ricky Williams has been elevated to the starters role. And the Ravens are 2-5 in my chise.

That is the beauty of the game. It is not predictable. Much like real life fellers.

Coming from a Saints fan, I think it was mostly likely more of a fractured collarbone than broken. Of course I don't know for sure, but that's the speculation among the fan base. It's more believable than a doctor's diagnosis being off by 8 weeks. :/
