idk where you have been for the last 5 years but the d-pad is pretty much 4 extra buttons, you don't move with it anymore, and i dont know why you would want to the analog is so much smootherComment

One of my friends likes using the D-pad. He still has Madden 10 just for this reason.Comment

The could have at least left it as an option to use the D-Pad but you have much better control with the analog stick when you run and make cuts and when you directional throw and precision pass.. You get to anle the stick much more better then you could with the D-Pad. There's no way I could go back to using the D-Pad but they should leave it as an option for guys who don't wanna take that next step and improve there game with the analog stick..Comment

Why would you want to use the D-pad to move players, Stick you can move them 360%...d-pad..up,down,left,right.....Am a old man....but i like the new school.!!!! lmao......When they added the stick over the d-pad, omg made all sports game even better....Comment
