whosnext00's Madden 12 Sliders ** including QBA chart

Special thanks to Playmakers for providing the base.

    Updated 9/22/2011 - Testing Phase

For proper completion % use the provided QBA chart.
    Contributors: Playmakers, whosnext00

Rules (These must be followed for any sliders out there to work)
    1. No cheesing, use gameflow or ask madden.
    2. Know your matchup before commenting about something that seems off.
    3. Football changes game to game so play multiple games when testing and look at your averages.
    4. Be honest about your skill level or use coach mode to even it out and you'll get honest feedback from these sliders.
    5. READ EVERYTHING HERE BEFORE ASKING

What I need to make improvements (if any)
    1. Box scores - Record them at the OS Generator
    2. Avg time in pocket
    3. Amount of dropped passes/INTs
    4. RB tendencies - trucking or elusiveness
    5. Amount of Broken Tackles
    6. Amount of Fumbles and INTs

If I forgot something I'll add it to the list.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those who are confused about the QBA chart and WR adjustments

If you want to use Matt Ryan for instance, you would set the QBA to 16.

That's 6 points less than the default 22

Since we took off 6 points from the QBA for Matt Ryan, we're gonna add 6 points to WR catch making it go from 58 to 64.

If you do not add or take away points for the WR catch then you're likely to have wrong QB%'s.

This method is applied to both the HUM and CPU.

    Enjoy!

Longtime follower of PM, but was curious enough to check your sliders out. My advice, in order to avoid his problems, is to explain things as if people were idiots.

For example, based on your initial post, i can immediately see people confused about QBA and WR Catch. Use low side in QB chart for Hum, CPU, or both? Adjustments in WR catch for Hum, CPU, or both?

Just my advice, but thanks for your sliders. Also, thanks to PM if he is reading!

Thanks for the tip, I made a couple note changes for easier understanding.

Just took these for a quick spin!

Anyone who thinks the CPU passing offense won't hurt you with the low end slider... well, Stafford just went 20/25, 265 yards and 2 TDs 0 Ints on me (Vikes).

I don't have time to write you a boxscore, but I seriously felt for the first time in Madden 12 I was actually battling the CPU for field position. I think both offenses only had one long throw - the rest were quick passing which made the yards per play come way down compared to what Madden normally offers! GREAT!!!

Both Vikes and Lions struggled to run really well with both HB finishing close to 3 YPC.

On 2 PA passes I got stuffed right after faking the hand off. We also got to Stafford 5 times, so I really think either pass rush has to come a bit down or pass block should go to 100. But again, this is based on one game

Overall the best sliders for my playing style as I felt it actually was the first time I've seen Madden 12 represent an NFL game! Big kudos to PM for taking the first step and whosnext!!

          I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Play some more games and see if you still see sack issues but your numbers really aren't an issue, I could see the Vikes getting 5 sacks against the lions all day. The Raiders had 5 sacks against the Broncos last Monday.

Asses the running game some more, 3ypc isn't what I've been getting so it was probably just that matchup.

The pass rush and pass block have a lot to do with the QB % and check downs. At 95 pass block QBs get too much time but sacks are where they need to be b but QB % is off so I'll have to figure a way to work it.

Thanks for the info, helps a lot.

Try to play your games in franchise mode where DPP comes into effect. You'll see some different results.

Anyone else trying out these sliders too? I need more opinions and box scores.

                      *Update: Moved Threshold to 0.

It creates better, more realistic separation and the computer doesn't interfere by slowing down, speeding up, jerking or sliding players.

Re: whosnext00's Madden 12 Sliders ** including QBA chart

Made a few changes for more realistic gameplay, mostly all the changes evolve around the tackle slider being at the most realistic setting possible showing awesome wrap ups, gang tackles, pull from behinds, etc.

You will still see broken tackles with it at 0

Block shedding at 2 might affect your sacks, let me know if it does but it also helps contain the running game.

70 seems to be the sweet spot for pass blocking in terms of gameplay. Above I saw a lot of missed blocks where players were locked in. Dropped it to 70 and the block would be made with no lock on the player.

Please read about the Tackle on the front page. I would really like some help testing that.

Bare in mind that difficulty comes after gameplay & animations because you have to be really good with the sticks to tackle on 10.

                          Re: whosnext00's Madden 12 Sliders ** including QBA chart - UPDATE 9/20/11

"QBA: 22/22 (use the lowest whole number in the QBA chart ONLY for both HUM/CPU.)
                          Pass Block: 70/70
WR Catch: 58/58(Adjustments example: If QBA -10 points, add 10 to this. ie: Aaron Rodgers QBA = 8 so WR catch = 72 for HUM and CPU)"

Hey Next... THANKS for all your work!

Sorry... I am trying to follow the instructions above... How did you get the 72 for HUM and CPU WR Catch by adding 8? What number did you add 8 to?... Is this line still supposed to be in here?

and the QBA is still confusing... Can you tell me what I should set Matt Ryan (HUM) against Mike Vick (CPU) for instance? Would they both be the same? (16)

I'm sure the mistake is mine and I am probably missing the obvious, so thanks in advance for clearing this up yet again. I just want a realistic line score at the end of a game.

I definitely want to try these, because i love the low tackle slider, and im starting to think that 0 threshold is the way to go, but im confused about the QBA and WR Catch.

I updated the front page with info about the QBA and WR catch.
