Second and 52!!!
I'm in the Conference Finals, close game, early 3rd quarter, and my QB takes off toward my end of the field, finally going out of bounds for a 42 yard loss!
I had just decided to give my FB one of his rare carries when I got an injury notice. I called the play and then looked at the notice. It was my FB. This should be interesting, I thought. They missed the hand-off and my QB began jogging down the field toward my goal! Nobody was chasing him! In a panic, I pressed all the buttons and finally began shouting at him. Alas, nothing worked!
Another strange thing happened in this game, I had two of my best players get zero play injuries in the first half. They never returned to the game! A couple of more unusual happenings: I had 7 penalties for 74 yards and 4 fumbles (2 overturned).
Must have been a full moon. I did power everything down right after the game, just in case my PS3 was having issues from playing too long!
