being we dont know how you are running your chise, but am sure you got to get Eli more than a year at QB...and sure you need help in more places..would not drop the man your team is built around...you just need to keep building around him...cause if you are a good player you should help his rating out to make him better...And i know the Gmen need more help than just Eli

I think the game has him more erratic than he is in real life. Get a Plaxico type receiver. Or invest in another TE.

How the hell are you 5-0 and only have 2 passing Touch downs?

Keep him! Be more careful when you throw, stick to slant routes and aim your passes to get him hot...

5-0 with 2 passing TDs? If you won that many games that means Bradshaw/Jacobs would have to have like 15TD combined already lol.

Re: What would you do with Eli

Keep him and create a west coast style playbook with safe throws to get him in a rhythm or get back into one when he's flustered. Then try to attack while he's back in the groove.

I also agree with the TE suggestion. Trade for/develop one that's a good pass catcher and decent route runner. They are nice against teams that like to blitz the LBs a lot.

Alternatively, keep him and go with a ground attack with passes that are almost like "long distance handoffs" and see if Nicks can't break some for extra yardage. Play action may also become effective, creating some more openings for Eli.

I changed my playbook for Tyrod Taylor and it helped him keep his head in the game with shorter throws and picking times to take a shot. Still lost, but he's now on a hot streak right as Flacco comes back. Too bad I was too stubborn to do it some games back. Lesson learned, pare back the offense and get more conservative with a streakish QB while he's down, but then ramp it up while he's hot.

I still fail to see how you go 5-0 with a team that really doesnt have a feature back.... and only throw 2 TD passes.

I don't see that move making much sense if he's trying for a championship this season. Gabbert arm strength is the same as Eli's (90) and he has a low deep throw accuracy. Sure Gabbert is freakishly accurate on his short and medium throws for a rookie but still, if the OP is trying to get a deep passing game going THIS season and win the Super Bowl, I don't see Gabbert helping much.
