IMO Dirk should be around 88-89 overall but it's not that much of a problem. What do you think about his 99 med rating though? I know he's a great shooter but is he as good a shooter as MJ? I don't know. I'd give him a 95 mid jumper rating at best.

i must admit he deserves atleast a 90 because he is the most automatic jumpshooter in the nba to me. more than ray allen

99 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to high for any player. 86 is the highest in 2k11

also someone had to edit those ratings because his close shot is also a 99 thats no where near the truth. that guy can shoot but misses layups and post moves way to much to be so tall

I could stomach a 95 midrange rating, but 99 is too much.

its not like he is competent in the skills needed for a PF? he can shoot thats his game. not a shot blocker /defender/ rebounder like a prototype PF. 2k has it right and i hope they wont inflate his other stats just to make people concerned with overall ratings happy. THey inflated lebrons stats in 2k11

Thats unbelievably stupid. Unless jumping plays a HUGE factor in 2k12, Dirk will be the definition of cheese. People will abuse the LT + shot stick animation to score.

I think they changed the rating systme for 2k12 though, no way Caron Butler is an 88 in med.

My my, if that's real I'm going to be one happy Mavs user. That 99 may be a tiny bit toooo much, maybe a 94/95 or something would have sufficed. Now his FT is an 89, maybe that should have been 99 lol.

I would be more concerned about Jason Kidd (34% 3pt) with an 81 in 3pt rating, and JJ Barea (35% 3pt) has the 3pt icon in the demo so it looks like the 2k insider was on holidays again this year instead of editing the ratings

OVR is fine lol stop reacting to that.. what's weird is the 99 close and mid, i don't think i've seen non-legend players have those ratings yet.. maybe they have a different formula this year?
