Also make sure to have Authentic Puck size and Authentic puck shadow. Makes the game feel much more realistic.

Btw I play with Broadcast camera angle.<!-- / message -->

Made some very important changes all in BOLD. Try these out fellas, I honestly believe these are the best sliders on these forums. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions fire away.

I tried out your first revision yesterday, and I liked the play. However, I think 11 minutes was a little too long. The final score ended up being 7-4, with shots heavily in favour of the CPU...

The shots that the goalies let in were all very random; might have preferred slightly tightened up goalie attributes.

On a whole though, a fan of the gameplay. I'll try out these new modifications later and let you know what I think. Probably will play these with 9-10 minute periods though

Hey Topside, thought I'd give your sliders a shot, my impressions after one game (a 2-1 loss to LA with Edmonton) is:

        - I actually like 11 minute periods, it's what I've played with the last 2 years.

        - 5 speed felt too fast for me so I had to drop it to 4

        - Not sure I am a fan of this trend to drop attribute effects to 0, Westgarth looked a little to quick out there for my liking.

Thanks to both of you for your comments. I'm still up in the air about attribute effects slider. I want George Parros to play like George Parros and not like Stamkos. I like a little faster pace game so that's why I use 5 but 4 should work great too especially to keep shot totals down a bit. I think 11 minutes is perfect.

Let's try to work together to get the best possible sliders. I would love to hear anything good or bad about my sliders. I'll tell you what hit totals are definetly looking good and shot totals pretty good too. I do agree that the CPU takes a few more than Human so I'm working on that too. I'm pretty sure it has to do with CPU difficulty.

LordoftheRings I recall using your sliders a few years back if I remember correctly. Lat let me know if you make any goalie changes. I'd like to know how they play out

I would think that if you want Parros to play like Parros you have the slider at 3. With it at zero you are closing the gap between Parros and Crosby...for example it will turn a 74 overall player into a 76 and a 90 overall player into a 88...at 3, the players will play at their ratings, I confirmed this with one of the developers a couple of years ago.

I honestly didn't know that and haven't even played with it at 3 yet. I've used 5 and 6 and hated the way the game felt. I'm going to try 3 with these same sliders. I might turn down CPU difficulty a notch also.

Still a bit irritated with the way the cpu passes the puck stick to stick with ease. Pass reception slider is the most useless slider that there is. My teammates are intercepting a lot more passes but the cpu rarely makes a errant pass to eachother.

Yeah I find this too, there is the odd errant pass when they're in the offensive zone and pass it back to the D-man, but other then that it's pretty much tape-to-tape.

Made some very important changes to the sliders all are in bold. I think the default speed and acceleration felt like the most realistic gameplay. I also left cpu difficulty at 0 because it felt like I was playing the same team over and over again. Try these out I'm having an absolute blast right now. Won my last game 4-2 Red Wings(me) against Senators.

Played a game with your new modifications, and ended up with a tight 4-3 loss. Scored with a pulled goalie with less than a minute left to tie it up too.

Anyways, other than the impeccable CPU passing (which is better than it is normally), I gotta say these sliders are my favourite. Thanks for sharing! I don't really have any other issues with them.

Thanks so much for the kind words. The CPU passing is ridiculous. I've tried absolutely everything to get the pass % at a normal number to no avail.

I'm having as much fun with this set of sliders and this game then I ever have before. Hopefully one of the tuners can make the cpu miss more passes in the future but until then this is the best we are going to get unfortunately.

I have tried quite a few All-Star sliders, but I have to say those are my favourite BY FAR. Great work, topside - the game feels really good now, I'm getting realistic results and it's just real fun to play with those.

Thanks alot fellas! These sliders have brought this game back to life for me again. I'm actually enjoying the games I've been playing instead of worrying about every little thing.

Made my last and final changes until a new tuner changes the gameplay. Still haven't been able to tone down the CPU passing but I'm not so sure there is a way to do that through sliders. Other than that the game is playing very nice and smooth.

                              Try these out guys!
