Week 4: Detroit Lions (3-0) at Dallas Cowboys (2-1)

    Yep, I'm starting early.

Never thought I'd say this, but the Lions are a HUGE test for the Cowboys. If the offensive line can survive, I think we have a shot.

I'm not too confident in our ability to get the run game going against Vanden Bosch, Suh and most likely, Fairley. I do think it will be hard for Detroit's LB corps to matchup with Jason Witten though.

Defensively, our secondary will be in for a battle with Megatron and Scheffler (loving the potential Sean Lee and Scheffler matchup). I hope Newman and Jenkins are up to the test.

I do not like the match-up at the time.

With the health of our secondary in question, I fear what Megatron will do if Jenkins and/or Newman have to leave the game for any time.

Just win. I dont care how, find a way. Go into this bye with a W, and come out with Austin back, Scandrick back, and hopefully Bryant fully healed.

Though the statistics through three games are probably misleading, Dallas is fifth in the league in total defensive yards allowed and first in the league in sacks. On the other side, Detroit has only allowed five sacks to this point and also only fourteen quarterback hits, both of those numbers amongst the better teams in the league. (these number per NFL.com)

This game will be won or lost up front. Protecting the quarterback is vital to each team's chances of victory, IMO.

I feel like Detroit should win this game but you never know.....

Dallas hasn't looked like the greatest team in the world and Detroit has looked mighty impressive. I could see the Detroit pass rush mauling Romo which would keep Dallas off the field. So i'm going to say Detroit by 10.

All that can go out the window when all 5 sacks came last game. You guys don't have Jared Allen, but that doesn't really matter since you guys do have DeMarcus Ware. Hopefully our tackles come out looking better than they did last week. We do that again, and Stafford is going to spend another day on the ground. I do envision a long day for Romo as well with Detroit's front 4.

Detroit also has no running game. Averaging less than 3 yards a carry. Eventually that will come back to bite us if we don't get it going.

I expect Dallas to put Johnson in double coverage the majority of the game. Best, Burleson, Scheffler, Pettigrew, and Young will have to step it up in the passing game like they have been.

No clue what score to predict in this one yet. Definitely want to see the Lions at 4-0 (and 3-0 on the road). You can't even use the "stranger things have happened" phrase with that kind of thinking.

Go 'Boys. Detriot's needs to be be brought down to earth a little bit. (FYI I still have the Lions winning 9/10 Games)

Plenty of room on the Bandwagon for the Lions. Lions offense is better then the Redskins and a better D-Line. Lions feast on Romo Ribs....Lions 24-13.. also with a win here, the Lions 5 of the next 7 games are at home...

I assume you know that he's mentioning the Skins because that's who Dallas just played and he's arguing Lions > Skins so Lions > Cowboys but just don't agree with that logic? I don't either.

I think Cowboys will win this in another gutsy performance by Romo.

Is he Even playing? I believe I heard on NFL32 briefly, he's not sure if Fairley is going to play this week.

The Detroit Free Press is saying that Fairley has a "slim" chance to play this week. I think the article said he is doing positional drills only, no team drills. Might be some gamesmanship by the Lions, though.

The transitive property has been proven wrong in football again and again.

This is going to be a tough game for the Lions, I'll take the Cowboys in a close one.
