I dont know about you guys, but i think the best part about NBA 2k12 is going to be the online association. I am a big fan of the 2k leauges, but with online association its going to be great. Instead on one season and done, you can have multiple seasons. Tuesday is going to be great.

If you need to have 32 people (human players) in order to get full stat tracking/scheduling/ect. then this will be meaningless to me. In other words, if I can't run an association with just a couple of human players with full simulation on other games then this mode is worthless to me. I'm not holding my breath.

yeah i get what your saying, but i dont think that will be how there going to do it. Although, the more people you have in your online association the better.

I've never had success completing any season mode in any sports game with more than a couple of human players...it simply doesn't work (schedules/quitters/ect.) I won't even try it anymore.

I agree especially in a full NBA season 82 games plus playoffs mean you'd rarely if ever reach the offseason lol

I'm hoping this online association addresses the issues of people quitting and not playing their games or whatever..... I'm looking forward to this mode....I hope they'll allow the CPU to control teams.... If it doesn't live up to the hype, there's always my player mode....

I have been able to get through about 5 leauges in 2k11. You just have to have people that you know and you know they wont quit. It might let you play less games in the options not sure. Either way im ready for this mode.

I'm still waiting for a sports game developer to make online season/franchise mode just like offline mode...complete with CPU controlled teams/simmed games and the ability to have my buddy control the opposing team for any and every game....when they get that far come talk to me..until then it's a worthless Rto me IMO..

More info will be released tomorrow, I hope we don't need cpu teams if we don't have 30 users. Joining an online league, I don't want it to be like Madden where I have to play the computer, If I wanted to play the computer I would play offline. Ideally we would still be able to do multiple seasons, incoming rookies and whatnot even with a 12-14 team league.

Also I hope free agency has an actual bidding process against the cap, not just let people sign anyone immediately as long as they get there first like in madden.
