How can I view my opponents rating in Career Mode?

The place where I see star and number ratings for my opponent in an exhibition match doesn't show up in career mode. I've tried to find a menu option in the career menu that will let me look at teams beforehand in order to evaluate them, but I'm not finding it there either. Any ideas, guys?

here's a really long way you can do it

    get excel spreadsheet ready

    Set it up like this

    G
    LB
    CB
    CB
    RB
    M
    M
    M
    M
    F
    F

    then extra
    G
    D
    D
    M
    M
    S
    S

That way, you have the starting XI, plus the best 7ish other guys for said team

I play in the MLS, so say I'm the Red Bulls, I want to scout LA Galaxy

Go to Transfer window, search for MLS-->Galaxy, then it will give you a list of all their players

plug in the top rated guys in each position like this

    M Donovan "rating"

so with a little work, you will have the top 18 players from each team you play.

You have quite the work ethic! It's a shame there isn't an easier way to do it, but I'll scout my opponents using your method now. Thanks a lot.

My current method of scouting is hearing the commentators say that I should either blow away my opponent or have a close match. (Struggling on Pro with Bayern Munich at the moment. A 1-0 win in Friendlies, 1-1 draw in Friendlies against AC Milan which was probably my best result, three straight 0-0 draws to open the Bundesliga campaign, and lastly a 1-1 draw against Hamburg. Barely into the season and Robben has asked for a transfer. Ugh.)

Or you can just go to man marking in pre match team management.

          Great idea! Thanks.

Update on struggles: Gave up a 2-1 lead at 90 minutes to draw again, but then beat Leverkusen 3-1. Maybe I've reached a breakthrough or something. 1-0-6!
