Player Holdouts
i think that a way to make this game more realistic is to have player holdouts. i can see where this could make the gamer more angry at madden. but you have got to love the realism. for example, steve johnson is set to make 780k in that game in the first year. lets say he gets 115 catches 1500 yards and 15 TD. he should holdout the next year because thats likely what he would do in real life.
this is just an idea to make the game more realistic. what do u guys think |

Something EA would say:
Need more money. :y220a: |
Re: Player Holdouts
I remember hold outs on the PSP system.

If you don't heed the "advice" of reconstructing the Contract, the player will hold out, demand a trade, and/or refuse to play until he is traded/renegotiated...would be cool. Aside from the Agent contacting you, all of that happened in the PS2 with respect to holdout/demanding to be traded. |
Re: Player Holdouts
This might be one of the things they're not allowed to add by the NFL because it might show the league in a bad light (other examples would be suspensions and things like that).

Re: Player Holdouts
I'd be all about holdouts. It would definitely go a long way towards eliminating players building teams with a bunch of scrubs and lighting the field up with them because of how well they are performing.
I.E.: I have Vince Young as an MVP candidate in year 2 of my franchise, in a likely position to win. 76 rated QB. If he held out, demanding a bigger contract, that'd be awesome. |
Re: Player Holdouts
Ive had L. McCoy hold out in my Eagles franchise. He would not play any games I till resigned him with a better contract.
