Re: Should I trade in NBA 2K11????
I'm debating too man. 2K11 is my favorite game of all time up to this point. But I could use the extra $10 off by trading it in.
I would only wanna keep it for collection purposes, but I'm about to say screw that. We still in a recession..Lineup:

SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen

Re: Should I trade in NBA 2K11????
I'm keeping mine as well. With the Jordan Challenge(which I have not even played) that gives me the incentive to hold on to this.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

You'll get like 2 bucks if you trade it in. Might as well keep itComment

I usually trade old copies of sports games in but I think I'll hold on to 2K11. First off the only mode that will load on my PS3 is the Jordan Challenge and I love playing that. Second it has Jordan so it's not going anywhere.Comment

Re: Should I trade in NBA 2K11????
I was debating the same thing too Normally I would usually trade in sports games when the new ones come out the following year but since MJ was on the cover and since we had the MJ challenges(which I still enjoy playing and I still need to complete one) I am going to keep it more for collection purposes too, also because the classic rosters are easily editable, and 2K11 may still have some replay value especially with portlandblazers roster edits), even though times are tough for me. Being from Chicago, MJ and the Bulls are of course my favorite team and I own many things like magazines with MJ on the cover and have many newspaper articles from when the Bulls won their 6 championships and I have all the Bulls and MJ dvds and blu-rays.
on a side note: I even kept my NHL 10 with Patrick Kane on the cover. (That was the year the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup) and I also kept NHL 11 because it had Johnathon Toews on the cover, but thats just me.Last edited by lsalas76; 10-03-2011, 11:09 AM.Comment

If you like it keep it. I loved it but knew I wouldn't play it again after 12 comes out.
But if your going ot trade in a sports game you should do it a least a week or 2 before the new one comes out to get a couple bucks. Best Buy let's you check trade in values on line. https://www.bestbuytradein.com/bb/Qu...ba+2k11&pf=all
Today PS3 is $12 and 360 is $11. I traded my 2k11 in a couple weeks ago when they had a 50% preorder bonus so I got like $18 credit. I think you can go in today and still get some kind of preorder bonus for tomorow.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Should I trade in NBA 2K11????
Since trade-in stores were open... I have been trading old sports games a month or two before the new one came out.
But... I have not finished my season with Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc and me. So, I will be keeping NBA2K11 and once my season is done... I will save it because Jordan is on the cover.
I grew up in Chicago and he is my sports hero. So, breaking with my normal procedures... i am keeping it.Comment

I usually keep all my old sports games, no reason for me to trade it in for $8 or so and then gamestop flips it for $29
