Recruiting Question regarding pipelines

In my OD I just took the head coaching job at Syracuse. I have Pennsylvania and Florida as two pipeline states, and then I have New York on the list but it says it may be new for next year. I have 25 players on my roster from New York and you only need 4 to get the pipeline bonus but I don't get the bonus for recruits from NY. Just wondering why that is and if it happens to anyone else. Thanks.

I remember reading some posts on here about other people having the same problem with no bonus from NY. Im not sure if its a glitch for everyone or just hit and miss. Ive never had NY as a pipeline so I cant say for sure.

Alright thanks for the info. That sucks considering thats my home state and most of the recruits I'm recruiting early on until I can establish new pipelines will be New York.

You might be screwed. There's a known bug with Utah (and I've heard it also affects Utah State, but I haven't experienced it personally) where they can never have their home state of Utah or Texas (the best recruiting state in the country) as pipelines. Your example leads me to believe that it might hit other schools too.

Just to note, Utah and Texas always show up as "will gain as pipeline next year" since the Utes have so many people from those states, but they never do, so you'll likely never get NY.

The Utah issue is from last years game where Tennessee would always replace Texas. Is that still the case in 12?

I play with Utah an offline dynasty and I have no problem with Texas showing up as a pipeline. Is it only a problem with Online dynasties?

I played last year with Utah in an Online dynasty and had no problems.

Nope. It's both offline and online. I haven't checked since the patch but you're the first person I've heard of that gets the pipeline bonus for Texas using Utah. I've heard from lots of people and have experimented with it myself and never gotten it.

Texas shows up as a pipeline in the preseason the 1st time you look @ the pipeline screen, but when you look at the pipeline screen again (even just closing it and reopening it) it doesn't show up, but shows up as a "will get next year." I also have never gotten the pipeline bonus for Texas or Utah while recruiting players from there.
