I really only trust GI (and OS) with reviews.

Since I already have the game (thank you Midnight release!) I can judge for myself. It is awesome

It is so funny years ago that all of these companies used to give 2K low ratings. Now that EA is out of the way, I see these companies finally giving 2K their props. Not sure how I feel about that.

Yep I'm waiting too. Ups usually delivers my stuff between 3-5pm. Oh the price I pay for having and using Amazon Prime but its worth it sometimes. The review is new for me too. I had a chance to play the full game at Best Buy today. I briefly tried out 13 of the 15 legends only. I agree with the review score. So thats two 9.5 scores for NBA 2k12 now.

damn...after the last 2 years of critical acclaim, the EA devs have to be driven to drink...it's gotta be tough working on the next Elite game when you see what you're going to be up against.

Online shortcomings and the lack of including last year’s rookie class on the rosters until the lockout lifts aside (thanks for that dumb rule, NBA), you won’t find a better franchise mode, single-player mode, historical mode, or presentation package anywhere else. NBA 2K12 isn’t just the best basketball game; it’s the most complete sports sim I’ve ever played. This is the new benchmark.
