So we aren't allowed to edit classic teams.

Or make other teams using those players.

    That really angers me.

Also, I am already sick of seeing those fake CAP filler players on the created teams. The face of the one player is annoying.

Classic teams not having the real coaches (Phil Jackson and Jerry Sloan missing), that annoys me.

I was going to make a super roster, and this game made it sooo difficult for me.

There's some involved workarounds. A giant thread on this process is lingering about somewhere in this forum. I agree that it's a strange backwards step to make, and it's very frustrating, but there are at least some ways to make roster changes. Give the forum a look, the thread had a couple hundred posts but I cannot look right at this moment.

I can't speak on it. . . I have tried yet nor will I edit any rosters until the official NBA Lockout is over and the 2k rosters are updated.
Where they DO that? ? ?

Yeah, thats the thing worrying me, I have a massive Roster save I want to make, but when the updates come/trades happen, it would make a ****load more work.

That's exactly why I haven't done anything. I'm going to bide my time by sharping my skills until it's all sorted out.

You won't see updates for sometime since the lockout won't be over for quite a while so don't stress over it.

No one knows how long the lockout will last.

Yeah, thats what I am figuring.

Anyway, whats this about people losing the 2 classic teams when they shut the game off/turn it back on?

This is extremely frustrating. It doesn't make any sense for them to take this step back. Same goes for removing player ages. 2k knows how important the classic teams are with the lockout. We can only hope this gets resolved with a patch.

and if there is a patch released about the ages thing i would not be able to get it

I am still optimistic that this will be patched.

                          If not, Plan B:

                          - play games with current rosters for the first time since 2k9

                          - accept the legends teams for what they are and try to enjoy them nonetheless

                          - jump ship to the PC once portlandblazer puts out a roster for it

                          - keep playing 1992-93 on 2k11

                          - wait and see if someone puts out a decent roster using the workaround listed in the other thread.

It's looking more and more like the pc is the way to go this year for guys like me that prefer classic rosters.
