Best of all, it's a free update for everyone. We'll never charge you extra for the HD version of an iOS game. If you do not own iOOTP 2011 yet, it is just $4.99 and available now for iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch in the AppStore!

If you don't own an iPad, don't worry: this update doesn't change your ability to play iOOTP on an iPhone or iPod touch. It simply lets you take advantage of the iPad's larger screen, should you acquire one at a later date.

been addicted to the 1986 Mets season on the iphone.. when i load up the ipad app though, it makes me want to buy those seasons again. boo!!

No, you don't have to buy your seasons again! The way Apple handles it is just a little ... strange.

Just chose the season or bundle (please make sure to chose exactly the items you already bought and that you are logged in with the same Apple ID!) in question on the iPad. You will get the "Confirm Your In-App Purchase" popup. Hit "Buy" and you will get another popup "You've already purchased this. Tap OK to download it again for free". Tap "OK" and your seasons will be available on your iPad.
