To anyone that has created a pg myplayer i have a question for you,are you finding it hard to pass the ball,and getting your teammates involved,me i want to pass the ball but seems like most of the time i pass it it is either tipped or stolen,i have a terrible assist to turnover ratio, i average 3 assist and 4 turnovers a game,just recently ive turned into a scoring guard,passing the ball less so my team doesn't lose a possession do to a turnover by me. Anyone has any tips to pass the ball effectively?I know this a completely different game from 2k11,but in 2k11 i wasnt getting my passes deflected or stolen every time. Any help will be appreciated.

YES. I have the same problem. I guess the best thing to do is run plays. Whenever I call a quick pick and roll, I can never get my PF or C the ball in the lane. In one game I had 10 turnovers.

Yeah,. I was experiencing the same problem. I was averaging like 0-2 assists per game and like 10 points early on. I've been increasing my pass rating. I'm pretty sure at this point I've raised it like 10-12 points and now I'm averaging like 3-5 assists per game. Really, it should be more but, I got drafted by the Bucks and they can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Pretty sure as my pass rating, minutes, and my knowledge of the offense increases, so will my assists.

run plays...and when u dont have the ball set screens allover the place...ur guys will play way better...also get team chemistry to 80 if u can and get ur own buzz chemistry in the 70-80 range....i sucked 1st season but changed my game...i only take maybe 10 shots per game now....get to the line maybe 6-10 times on drives...i drive and kick out ot run most of my plays to steph curry...we are playing some good ball in year 2....12-1 to start the year

Anyone that has played the point in real life knows how crucial the bounce pass is and the lack of the ability to bounce pass it at will causes a lot of unnecessary TOs.

ya i know right....wish we could have the option instead of that weak lob entry to the post that works about 1/10 times...this game needs a fix on the 3 ball i just lost to denver 101-100 they shot 68% from 3...its too much man

Run plays. Run some more plays. When that is done, run more plays. I call for a pick maybe once a game to free up and end of half three. Other than that I stick to the play called or call best available if I see the one called has not been working. Right now I average 12 dimes a game. 3-4 to Durant on a SF swing play. The rest to the open man on drive and kicks or to the big man on a pick and roll called by the game and not manually. When the game calls a pick and roll the defenders do not seem to be super-human. They tend to attempt to double me or go over the pick. When I call a pick and Roll they will almost always go under the pick making it damn near impossible to pass to the screener.

I was also experiencing the same problem. In addition, I hate it when you dribble the ball onto your teammate or defender as that normally knocks the ball loose (it usually hits them on the leg) and causing an unforced turnover. My stats are currently 18ppg, 6ast & 4 turnovers per game. In my last 3 games, I have reduced the average turnovers to around 2 per game. I did not call for much screens than I used to, and instead I called for plays where my big posts up. I would then just simply pass it to him in the post and let him do his thing.

Passing is definitely much harder this year. I don't know whether it was designed to be like this or due to glitches/bug. What I mean by the glitches/bug is situations where your PG would throw a chest pass (during a fast break) directly into the defenders body part (head, arm, back, leg) when he called have made a simply lob or bounce pass. And another issue was the dribbling (as mentioned earlier).

Best way I've found to get assists is to call plays where your perimeter shooters run around screens and pop out to the wing. If you can get them around the corner, then there's usually a 1-2 second window where you can lead pass them to the 3PT line and I've yet to had the pass intercepted that way.

Trying to actually make legitimate bounce passes in the paint seems impossible, but I'm also not sure how much of that is due to having a poor passing rating. If that is the case and it's not a true game issue, then I actually would be impressed.

Haha, I just use the icons to send a cutter then lead pass. I got 16 assist one game. Then I fudged my mama.

I've also noticed that difficult settings may play a factor. I switched from All-Star to Pro (simulation sliders), and the passing seems to be more fluid and there isn't as much deflections and CPU doesn't not have psychic powers. My teammates seem to be playing more better since switching down to Pro which is strange lol.

I don't think getting assists is difficult. However, getting my coach to play me at PG instead of SG is seeming to be an issue.

how do u call the quick pick n roll....? I need that play to help up my assist.....

pick n roll just hold L1 or left shoulder button i think on 360..

My Player is a 5'7 PG, passing's not so impossible.. although at times i do get really sloppy and turn the ball over a lot of times in one stretch lol.. just be really careful passing the ball and try using the lead passing to get your teammates where you want them to receive the ball..

me and curry are in perfect harmony...i call his number all day long he is avgn 29pts this year....im gettin about 8-12 dimes a game...alto some away games nothing works and we get blown out by 20+....im startin to really like my player after learning the game ....this game doesnt let u take over and try and go thru the whole team every possesion..u will brick or get lots of negative feedbacks...u gotta be a team player especially at the point..the more plays u call the more ur team balls and hard...mix it up get the bigs involved too!
