    NBA Greatest is too hard

I'm 0 for 3 now. 2 of them were cheap losses right at the end. It feels like the other team has all their shooting sliders at 100. I'm probably going to have to set my sliders up just to unlock these teams.

I put my game on one minute quarters and rookie and unlocked all of the teams. Then I can play them for real at my leisure.

Ah, I thought the minimum was 5 minutes. I might try this, at least for those 3 I've already played.

I really thought Clyde and Terry Porter just killed it when I played the Blazers. It was crazy hard

Re: NBA Greatest is too hard

I played the MJ one and the Stock one. Damn, in the MJ game it seemed like MJ couldn't hit a mid range shot, like literally coming down on a fastbreak, pulling up green, wide open, miss. I understand he can't make every shot but he was missing green release drifters. I was playing on Superstar for the challenge

Then in the Stockton game at the end of the first the Lakers had 29 points, 14-18 from the field (77% I believe) with 28 points in the paint. They made literally every hook shot and layup in the paint. I then turned it down to All-star and won in OT, Stockton had like 35 pts, 9 asts, 5 stls and Malone had 19 pts, etc.

It is difficult and you would think that it's supposed to be but if these are the greatest teams shouldn't both teams be really good and not just the CPU team?

I've played these games on the default setting and have won more than I've lost, but probably not by much. It's strange, I feel as though I'm playing the same, yet one game I'll win by 20 then the next game I'll lose by 10.

They should be hard. Look at the teams you are playing against; it's not like the opposition is the T-Wolves (sorry, T-Wolves fans). You are playing teams that were very tough, talented and in many cases, won NBA Titles.

Man I honestly didn't think it was that hard, I play on superstar 5 minutes quarters and beat all of them last night I went 15-1 the only one I lost was the bill russell challenge, Jerry west had I think 36 and I didn't have a go to scoring option, but I won it my very next try... I absolutely killed the lakers with the 98 jazz winning by 30 something, did the same against the hornets with the bulls, MJ with 36 at half lol

I tried the Magic one today. I didn't really play that hard and made a lot of mistakes (which was why the CPU kicked my ***). But I think that if Magic had to play vs. the AI in real life (especially with the steals), he wouldn't have made half of the amazing passes he made in real life. He probably played on Casual mode back then...

Do you guys manage to perform all those amazing passes with Magic?

Re: NBA Greatest is too hard

I played and finished all of them the other day or two on my first play-through. Not tooting my own horn or anything, but I didn't think much about the teams being too hard to conquer.

I'm trying to think back... the hardest game I played was the last one I played, which was the Knicks/Magic one. Penny was dominating me.

Of course, ignoring all of this, I will be playing a horde of classic teams vs. classic teams and classic teams vs. current teams in the play now with a higher difficulty, so by then I will be having my rear end handed back to me.
