no such thing as defense in this game unless your playing on custom sliders...i keep trying to tell people this

I just had an 80-79 game where the CPU shot 2-17 from 3 on me, so...

I'm beginning to think I'm playing a different game than other people.

Can't explain it. Russell Westbrook just went 7-10 from deep on off the dribble contested 3s vs. me online. Had my "hands up" and everything.

Bad basketball is winning out right now online. There's no point in executing an offense when your opponent is more effective dribbling back and forth and launching contested 3s. Sure, they'll miss a bunch, but shooting 40% on 35 3s is going to win a lot of games.

Does the game punish you for not playing on-ball D 100% of the time? I'm sorry, but that's just not possible, sometimes you have to switch off.

Pulling up for contested 3s with no regard for human life and making 60-70% of them is just unheard of.

By correctly, you mean jumping WITH (sometimes right before) your opponent? Then yea.

But if you can't trust your AI to contest correctly from time to time, then that's a huge problem. Kind of defeats the purpose of the Pressure Shooters setting.

same thing im saying. I been playing organized basketball since i was 9 and been a student of the game before then but at times 2k12 just looks unrealistic. People seem to not realize that a "pull up" 3 pt shot should not be as easy to hit as a open 3 pt shot. C'mon son!
