So the NFL Network has this show called Top 10. It's where they pretty much rate the top 10 in all kinds of categories, from players to games to whatever. They'll have something normal like the top 10 receivers or something like that, then the next show will be something like the top 10 teams that didn't win the superbowl and so forth. I thought it would be kinda cool if we did something like that. Instead of top 10, it'll be top 5 to keep things concise. This one is:
This is a Top 5 dedicated to the players in the NFL that you hate/hated for whatever reason. It could be a player that constantly killed your favorite team or a player you didn't like in college and just kept hating him in the NFL or whatever. This is dedicated to them.

James Jett (WR - Oak/LA Raiders)
James Jett was a frustrating player to watch. It seems like he could get open so easily, but the he dropped balls left and right. If this was Madden I'd say that his catch rating would be 25 or something like that. I remember at least 3 times he dropped TD passes that would have gave us the lead late in games. He was AL's boy though and even though 90% of Raider nation wanted him gone, he stuck around for a looooong time. I know he is high on the list for receiving yards for Raiders receivers, but I hate you James Jett!

Jim Kelly (QB - Buffalo Bills)
If it wasn't for Jim Kelly we might have made it to another Superbowl. In the 1990 season we ran into the Bills in the AFC Championship game and Kelly made our defense look like crap. It was the first time I had seen my beloved Raiders just totally get manhandled. Because Kelly was running through our defense and scoring so much and because of an injury to Bo Jackson, we had to abandon our running gameplan and start throwing which was not our strong point. We lost 51-3. Over the next few years, every time we ran into Kelly he tore us up. The ultimate was in the 93 playoffs. That loss to the Bills indirectly contributed to the firing of Art Shell(a damn good coach at that time) and the release/trade of a lot of our prominent players. Kelly destroyed the Raiders, on the field and as an organization. That was the end of the golden days for the Raiders. I hate you Jim Kelly!

John Elway (QB - Denver Broncos)
John Elway would've definitely been #1 on this list if it wasn't for a time in the late 80's/early 90's where he couldn't beat us consistently. In fact, we had a 6 or 7 game win streak on him at one point. Those teams weren't good though. That's why I was amazed that he'd take those teams to the Superbowl. Anyway, that wasn't the case later on. Later on, he consistently beat us and on 2 occasions knocked us out of playoff contention. I hated him with a passion because when he teamed up with Mike Shanahan, they throughly enjoyed beating up on us. Even though I consider him to be the greatest QB ever, I hate you John Elway!

Ladainian Tomlinson (HB - SD Chargers)
Every Raiders fan hates Ladainian. If you're a Raiders fan and don't hate him, you're NOT a Raiders fan lol. He enjoyed going off on us. There were times were he wouldn't have done crap all season then go off on us and just go off the rest of the season. We were just what he needed to get started for the season a lot of times. 14 straight times we played him and the chargers and 14 straight times we lost. It was no surprise that as soon as he left, we finally beat them. The fact that one game, he had more TD passes than our QB tells you how things went down with him. I hate you Ladainian Tomlinson!

Chris Warren (HB - Seattle Seahawks)
Now some of you might ask why isn't LT #1 on this list. It's simple, Chris Warren was the original player that I hated. He was the first athlete that I just genuinely hated in sports lol. When Seattle was in the AFC West, Warren slaughtered us time and time again. He did it waaay before LT showed up. And the thing is, his teams weren't good or anything. He just tore us up. We'd be leading the division and Seattle would be at the bottom, but when we played, he would go off for 200yds and stuff like that lol. Like I said though, his teams weren't good so they weren't going to the playoffs or anything. And the thing that pissed me off the most is, just like LT, he had his best games against us. LT was getting off, but he had a great team around him. They were going to the playoffs and stuff. That wasn't the case for Warren. His QB's were Jim Zorn and Dave Krieg and people like that. They weren't going anywhere. That's why it was so frustrating to lose to them because he rushed for 160yds and 3 TD's lol. Anyway, this is and will always be, the player that I hate the most in the NFL. I hate you Chris Warren!
I have to throw some honorable mentions in there too:
- Shannon Sharpe - helped John Elway kill us later on in his career at Denver and scored the only TD in the defensive battle known as the 2001 AFC Championship Game. That TD won the game for Baltimore. I hate you Shannon Sharpe!
- Rickey Dudley - the biggest and fastest TE ever at the time, but couldn't catch a cold. Combine him with James Jett and you get 4 or 5 big drops a game. The only reason he didn't make the list is because he wasn't there long. Unfortunately James Jett got to torture us for almost 10yrs. Dudley would be the TE equivalent of Jett. I hate you Rickey Dudley!
