    Defensive Ends not getting Sacks

I'm sure I'm not the only one that hasn't realized this, but most of my sacks come from my tackles and not my ends. I have read a couple of posts about this already and I was wondering if anyone has a fix for this...

I have a 4 star DE who had 11 sacks as a freshman...All American as a sophomore and of course went into a sophomore slump (3 sacks total) but has bounced back his Junior year to be at 6 sacks so far.

Yes DT's are more powerful....but my DE's are getting sacks.

Devin Taylor gets most of my sacks at defensive end. He's leading my team currently.

my LE usually leads my team in sacks(pretty much in every NCAA game, that is the case for me). I don't really do anything special though, so not sure what to tell you. I control the a LB, so it's not human control.

Pass Rush at 100. Pass Block at 55.

This allows the DLs to perform special moves more often. The DEs will be less likely to be "stuck" to the OTs and you will see more pressure from the ends.

As long the Pass Rush slider is 45-50% greater than the Pass Block slider you will see more realistic line interaction. So even if your pass Pass Block value is set to 5 make sure your Pass Rush is set to 10.

The Pass Block slider should NEVER be greater than the Pass Rush slider. That is when you see the OTs using "The Force" to keep DEs in check.

          Testing sliders works wonders.

When I control the DE's I get sacks with ease. I had 14 sacks with my 89 rated DE last season.

Re: Defensive Ends not getting Sacks

I don't find it hard to get a rush off the edge, compared to last years game I think it is more easy to get pressure off the edge. I usually go with outside stunts and overload concepts, and when up by a good margin and the cpu goes pass happy, I then go to a 4 man rush and end up getting the majority of my sacks because the QB holds on to the ball to long.
