Re: Best MLS Transfers
Is it even worth it to start a MM with a MLS team? I wanted to try and build one up, but if its rare you get any transfers that I probably won't.Comment

Re: Best MLS Transfers
You can get transfers with an MLS Club. The best player I have been able to acquire was James Milner from Manchester City.
Having said that, I don't think it is worth it to stay on with a MLS team because of promotion/relegation, lack of tourneys, etc
There is just not enough variety. I usually use a MLS club as a stepping stone to a European clubComment

Re: Best MLS Transfers
Playing with the Crew I was able to get Sammy Ameobi from Newcastle. While not a big name now he is a huge prospect for the future. Even at 19 he walked into the MLS and was leading my team in scoring until he just went down for 3 months.
Combine that with my CM virtual pro going down for 8 weeks and my offense has gone in the tank.Comment

Re: Best MLS Transfers
I started a player manager and my virtual pro is already on the crew so i just let him stay there and still play with the entire squad and not limit myself to only controlling my BAP.
Its nice becuase you still get all the achievements of completing challenges when your BAP does it in game but it is much more fluid than just controlling him.
What will be interesting is when I jump to a new club, likely in the EPL, if I chose to try and grab him or watch and see how the crew manage my BAP's career.Comment

Re: Best MLS Transfers
Where you go, your Virtual Pro will go to. You are, after all, the same person when you do a Player Manager Career Mode. If you wanted to do what you're talking about above you should have done a Manager Career Mode and picked the Crew with your VP on it.Comment

Re: Best MLS Transfers
you play games also, there's no mode where you just "manage" and don't play games, that would be Football ManagerComment
