Haha Smoove is always great. Fortunately I havent experienced any AI this bad and I've got my fingers crossed I dont have my first experience with it in game 7 of the Finals.

Is this the same guy that's too scared to play Mr. Purple of youtube fame in 2k?
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

The offensive AI is just as bad in some cases.

I have to agree that this years CPU defense system is a lil off.

I see this happen so many times! When playing My Player, the "who to guard" thing switches players at odd times. This is in need of some patch fixin'..

It's frustrating. Its so close to being great.

You don't leave your man wide open if he can nail it one pass away...unless you have a huge, huge threat cutting. NBA plays, as Czar said, is about making players make decisions. Its unfortunate that the CPU cannot emulate that. If they fix that, watching the offense forcing the defense to rotate would be...beautiful.

Open jumpers aren't open layups and vice versa. Seeing someone blow a wide open layup in the NBA is rare. Open jumpers shouldn't be that easy. (In my opinion about 25% less wide open jumpers should be missed)

Seeing bigs trying to beat their man with a series crossovers and spin moves makes me sad. Pick n' Rolls and isos are called if sets fail.

I like the fact that they're trying to break off cutters. Hopefully, once they fix everything, we'll see something even more realistic.

Oh, and clutch. Clock winding down, CPU breaks out a crazy jumper that goes in merely because it has calculated everything and aligned everything...dang it
