Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
So I started a new Franchise and realized that one of my UDFA DE's was 5'9" and 195 lbs! My corners were bigger then this man and he wanted to play DE? I've also seen a guard that was 5'10 and 235lbs!

Re: Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
I have a 6'7, 267LBS MLB. He's actually a beast but it looks a little bit stupid with how big he is right in the middle of the field and the way he makes tackles. -

Re: Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
My favorite was a 6'9" 320 pound LG with 52 strength. I thinks its a dice roll for ratings. I wish these guys had some iota of NFL talent.Because I live in van down by the river...Comment

Re: Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
100% agreed. It's ridiculous. By the 5th year in franchise, these clowns are everywhere. Crazy looking guys, weird sizes, ratings, equipment, etc. It's a joke. Combined with the complete lack of AI from the CPU teams, it totally sucks the realism out of franchise mode.
EA has proven themselves incapable of delivering a polished product as advertised. I should have known better than to get my hopes up.Comment

Re: Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
i always see UDFA WRs who are like 6'4 or 6'5 but are only like 175 lbs lol. come on they need to atleast be 210, more like 225Comment

Re: Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
There was some DT with a 12 strength in one roster set - I was like WTF.
I especially like the WR with 55 SPD. Same for DBs...I'm like...yeah...
Some do have some value worth keeping. I got one that was a 70/C OL that is a backup. Got a 55/B player - a raw developmental type I'm going to keep around as long as possible (where oh where are you, practice sqaud?)
I like the idea. EA just needs to tweak an idea for once instead of scrapping it. Just tighten up the RNG for ratings so they make sense for the position and improve the CPU AI in dealing with them, and it's golden, imo."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: Most ridiculous UDFA Sizes
I like the UDFA idea too. It makes the pre-season worth playing. In fact, I kept two on the roster and just edited their names to some real life guys who were about the same size since the HT/WT were actually legit.
So has it ever been answered why EA continues to lock editable fields like height/weight, DOB, and years pro?
At this point, asssuming there is nothing they can/will do about AI cut logic or strange body types, the best solution to this issue is to send a small patch that allows those fields to be edited so we can fix the really bad sizes the OP mentions. Not a perfect solution but much better than what we have.Currently playing Axis Football (2020) as the Nebraska ThunderComment
