Most Dominating Maden Players Ever

Just wanted to hear some input on the most dominate players in Madden other than 2004 Vick using him was basically cheating because back then there was no defense for a scrambling QB

My top players
2010 Chris Johnson- 2000 yards year, unreal speed.
Any version other than rookie season Adrian Peterson- Has everything,
06 Devin Hester- dont know If I got the year right but When kick returning was easy he was amazing
07 Brady- record breaking season, stats were as good as it gets
Earlier Vernon Davis- Zones actually work now so he isn't as great but a few years ago playing man was a death pentalty and he could get by zones. Linebackers didn't have the speed to cover him.

Actually, there were a few defenses for a scrambling QB... There weren't any Contain assignments, but there were a few plays that used a spy. The real problem was that the defense couldn't "hot route" like the offense could. That changed in '05.

That said... Guys may not remember Randall Cunningham when he was just #12 for Philadelphia. He was a BEAST on Madden '92.

Believe it or not, Brian Finneran was a beast on PS2.

On Madden '93 the combination of Barry Sanders and Herman Moore used to give me fits!

I try to make Steve Smith a WR/KR/PR threat whenever possible.

Jerry Rice used to catch EVERYTHING, Steve Young could run, AND they had Ricky Watters. Deadly.

Julius Peppers is a FORCE. Can pass rush, play the run, and cover receivers.

Madden 2000 the Bus Jerome Bettis. Broke every single tackle.
Madden 2005 the Daunte to Moss connection owned.
Madden 2008 LT could catch as well as he could receive.
Madden 94. Yeah Randall Cunningham. Beastly good
Madden 2012 Aaron Rodgers. Can run like Vick and throw like Brady
Madden 2006 Peyton Manning. Qb vision. Nuff Said.

Randy Moss- Madden 02-Madden 09 He could jump so high, he was tall, and he was always one of the fastest on the team. A handful to play against, Great to play with.

Chris Johnson- Madden 10-11-12 CK2K is so so fast!!! He always run around everyone, and he breaks tackles so effortlessly! I just played a game with him, and I was HONESTLY NO LIE able to RUN AROUND IN A CIRCLE ACROSS THE FIELD and still score a TD CJ 2K is too good

Adrian Peterson -Madden 09-12 Adrian Peterson has some fumbling problems, But when he touches that rock, You know he will have at least 5 yards a carry He at leasy pops a huge run once every game. He is a very dominating player in Madden

Reggie Bush- When used correctly Reggie Bush is impossiable to stop with Track Speed, and WR Ability, Bush is a vurtual headache! Often you get Many mismatches including Bush vs a Safey or Bush vs a LB he can not be stopped. Where he faulters is that he is very injury, and fumble prone, He often gets hurt, when hit too hard, or when you try stripping the ball away from him!

I will revisit this forum a bit later, with more unstopable players.

Vick back in the days of Atlanta, he was one of the fastest players on the field with a rocket arm. Ultimate cheese player if there ever was one.

Pat Watkins was the most annoying terrible real life player who was absolutely unstoppable in the right hands on Madden. Taylor Mays seems to be taking his place.

I feel like Calvin Johnson is awesome this year. If he gets past the CB just lob it. If he's fighting with the CB throw it to the outside and he'll catch it.

I've yet to see him lose a jump ball in the game.

Terrell Davis was a BEAST in like 99-2000. A friend I always played with back then was a huge Broncos that always went crazy with TD. Marshall Faulk was pretty unstoppable for a couple years.

I'm not sure - for me, anyway - if any player had more of an impact on my gameplan in Madden other than Michael Vick in 2004. Anytime I faced him, be it online or against the CPU, it was all I could do to defend him. He was faster than the receivers and had the strongest arm in the game.

Offense:

2012 Andre Johnson. He is like a 99ovr WR from Madden 09 stuck in Madden 12.

1999 Randy Moss. Rookie year was in the slot.

Defense:

2005 Ray Lewis. 1st year of the hit stick.

1994 Deion Sanders. Pick 6 if you throw to his side.

Randy Moss, and pretty much any reciever with speed and acceleration were pretty much unstoppable for most of the games.

Clinton Portis in one of the Maddens a few years ago was near unstoppable for me. Ricky Williams and Mike Anderson were also huge around 2003.

But mostly, any reciever with speed.

Oh, and Lavar Arrington on the blitz in 2003 was just plain unfair, again due to his speed.
