Key Attributes

I am going to take a created team and do a fantasy draft. I am trying to make it a power run team with a 3-4 defense that has a play making secondary think Pittsburgh Steelers. My question what single attribute should I look at for each position. Thank you any help will be appreciated.

It's going to differ by postion....I would imagine if you're gonna run a 3-4 I'd look for high play recognition, awareness and high block shed.

DBs I'd look for the same mines block shed.

thanks i appreciate it.....im used to looking at overall but I realized that means nothing because it doesnt take in to account what scheme you run

Your D linemen are there to hold blocks off the linebackers, so look for strength above all else. Your DEs will actually have low OVRs, as Madden rates speed at that position, which you shouldn't care about.

Compared to a 4-3, your line really consists of three players that would normally be DTs.
