A little story about a cheeser in a quick match.

Heat vs. Clippers

I'm the clippers. Out the gate they start Lebron at 4, Mike Miller at 3 and Bosh at 5. This line up does not change entire game.

His cheese is steal spamming, and he was the best I'd seen at it. The first half for the most part was a massacre. Lebron had about 8 steals. There were like 10 ally oops thrown. It just looked bad. With the match up issues I played zone the whole game but started with a 2-3 but later moved to a 3-2. towards the end of the first half I started slowing it way down, pass faking and stopped using turbo at all.

I got it down to under ten, going into the fourth my strategy was working and I was whittling down the lead. So he starts pause cheesing on offense and I guess to be funny he lets the pause clock go to zero then tries to drive with Bron right out the pause screen. Clank! I'm only down three, but it looked like my chance to win was gone as Blake misses a layup and Aminu misses a three again. So in signature cheeser fashion, he gets a rebound with 7 seconds left and goes to do the quick pause taunt. Forgetting that he had no time left. Chalk up a win for me.

Once again cheese doesn't pay. Not all the time at least

Yeah there should be a dual pause screen. So I can handle my subs and coach settings while the other person does there's. And we both have to come out of pause when we are both ready. It would kill the pause cheese and taunts.

Exactly. Since playing Pro Evolution Soccer, I'd love to see 2K implement what they do into online games. Before games, give each player 2-3 minutes to set up lineups, plays, defensive settings, etc. Once the game starts, there needs to be a pause limit of at least 5 times. In between quarters, give it about 30-45 seconds or whenever both players are done making adjustments.

I'm all for getting rid of the 3 minute timer. I played a guy that forced me into turnovers and before he would dunk would pause the game, highlight quit and returned to the game. Needless to say, I came back with Minny because I hate being taunted.

Naw, you have to get the PSN before game ends to send messages now. It sucks because last year you could go to the recently met section and see there name. Hope its fixed in the patch.

I always wished pushing pause in a multiplayer game acted as a timeout. I saw a nba live competition where the guy spammed start to win it was bs.
