I've been thinking about starting something up that would race on weekends to give a chance to those of us who are in school or are busy on the wednesdays that the ladder races are held. These would be 45-60 min(what ever people decide) long races with total distance being the determining factor I'd like it have a series or season feel so if people want to join late they'll have a level start after a couple of weeks.
I'm thinking about doing each season for 6 weeks with a season opener at Le Mans and closing at Nurburgring. We would cycle in real world tracks every season to fill out the remaining for to keep the variety. We will also change classes between seasons and potentially cars if we run a season with say stock V8's. If we do that tuning will be allowed but not modifications to the engine,tires, ect.

Since we seem to have enough interest to run some races I figured I'd lay out the rules a bit.
Driving Etiquette: This series is first of all for fun, it's a competition so there will be accidents but please don't take someone out on purpose. If you have a mic please act as a spotter if you are going for a pass. A simple "On your outside" can be enough to stop many accidents that occur in the game. If you feel you were taken out by someone I will be saving replays so just say the lap and I'll review it and there may be points docked if it's a blatant crash, I don't see this happening much though.
Pit Stops: For single pit stop races the stop must take place between lap 11 and 10 from the end so if it's a 30 lap race the pit window would be 11-20
For 2 stop races window's will be posted due to the length of the tracks there will be no hard and fast rules.
You can always pit more then the minimum if you need to fix damage or feel you need a fresh set of tires.
Series Length: We will be running 6 weeks per car(s). So the 22B and Evo6 will run through the first couple weeks of February followed by the DTM's and V8's most likely. I'm hoping this creates some fun battles for "series championships" as well as minimizing the turn around for people who had a bad race are just waiting for the next season to take a run at the title.
Point System:If we have more then 8 I would like to use
1st - 15
2nd - 12
3rd - 10
4th - 8
5th - 6
6th - 4
7th - 3
8th - 2
Everyone else who races will receive a point.

60 minutes of Le Mans (2 pit stops) 22 Laps, Pit between 6-11 and 13-18
40 min of Motigi (1 stop)
60 min of Road Atlanta (Petite Le Mans) (2 stops)
40 min of Suzuka (1 stop)
40 min of Laguna SECA (1 stop)
60 min of The Green Hell (Nordschleife) (2 stops)
This season will be run with standard tunes that can be found on my storefront, there is also an OS Series decal I made if anyone wants to use it on their car.
