Re: Y use right stick passing?
I loved this feature in NBA live 10 but I just seem to get into it with 2k12Comment

Re: Y use right stick passing?
As soon as I see my guy open I press R1 (ps3) and move the stick in his direction. It is much quicker than icon passingComment

Re: Y use right stick passing?
I might have to try this right stick passing... it HAS to be much better than directional passing... it's just that using the stick to shoot, I find it intimidating, and am hesitant to pass with the stick... I will try, this may cut down on them stupid turnovers, and my guy throwing it across court, instead of to the wide open cutter in front of them...Comment

Re: Y use right stick passing?
Its just like A/X passing except with RB/R1 held down and using the RS to direct the pass. The benefit of doing this is that you will get more animations out of it (in my experience) and I feel the passes are a tad quicker. (Could be placebo though)
The downside to it is the RS accuracy. Don't use it in major traffic, I use it on the fastbreak or if there is a corner or wing shooter open and I will dribble over to set a manual 'screen' and dish out quickly.Comment

Re: Y use right stick passing?
But you can do that with Icon passing too.
The only real advantage I see for right stick passing would be that you don't need to know which player is on which position, or on a fast break who is actually running up the court to pass it to him - in case he got out of the camera angle.Comment
