    Association Schedule - Post Lockout

With the official end of the NBA lockout happening within the next two weeks or so, is it possible for 2K to patch the schedules in Association to reflect 66 games, and the opening on Christmas Day? This would be huge in my opinion.

i wouldn't think it would be that hard to patch in, might take a weak or so to create it. hopefully they built some sort of back door to implement it without having to go through the patch approval process since they knew going in their was going to be a lengthy lockout.

Yeah I would assume they planned for all of this knowing that an on-schedule start to the season was unlikely. Not to get off topic, but they should theoretically have a roster ready with all of the rookies on their appropriate teams. Once Dec 9th hits, we should at least expect that.

Was just about to post this... totally agree. Would love to see 2k patch the schedule to match the one post lockout. Do they look at these forums ever to see what the gamers want in way of patches?

Can't say I know for sure, but I would not be surprised if they did. Reading this forum is one of the, if not the, best way to gather consumer feedback. I like to think the majority of people here are experienced sports gamers with some sort of "head on their shoulders."

I'm going to predict that 2K will put it in there, but it's going to trigger some other glitch in Association. Such as every season starting this way, getting the same schedule every year, all-star game getting erased, or something of that sort.

I don't think it's smart - or fair - for the forums to start making assumptions either way. Last week this time the vocal minority thought the season was lost and 2K devs didn't know what they were doing in going from 2K11 to 2K12. Now people seem to be throwing out expectations that 2K somehow accounted for every eventuality and it's a simple matter to patch whatever the NBA settles on for a condensed schedule. And setting a hard date for an updated schedule.

Imo it's over-simplifying what could be a complicated issue. If 2K can do it they deserve all the credit in the world. But I don't think people should assume the game is so modular that they can conform/contort it in any way they desire w/o opening the core game to possible issues.
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period
