What's the most realistic way to get OJ Mayo on the Bulls??

Going to start a bulls chise, what's a realistic way to get OJ mayo without giving up too much? Need the most realistic trade i can get cause it won't feel right if i feel that i ripped the CPU off.

the rate my trade thread is pretty much dead, so i can't ask there.

Well you could try Korver for him straight up but I don't know how realistic that is so you could always try Taj Gibson and Brewer for him. I wouldn't do it but you might not like Gibson as much as I do.

Grizzlies have no need for Taj Gibson with their front court. They may be interested in Brewer, but in all honesty they probably feel they can probably get more for him. May need to send Jimmy Butler and/or Korver their way or consider letting some picks go.

Just my take, hope it helps

Yeah the Grizz would want more then Korver. They wouldnt want Brewer they had him year before last and let him go.Maybe get another team involved and do a three team trade.

Well at the trade dealine last year the Pacers almost got him for Josh McRoberts and a pick, so, I would go with Taj, Asik (up his potential, its criminal low), and a pick. In real life, the Bulls have a future Charlotte first, but in this game they don't.

Korver or Brewer + Asik and a first rounder for Mayo seems decent.

Might even throw in Memphis' backup center Haddadi.

CPU doesn't want to accept Gibson + Korver 1,2 round picks

I wouldn't give up Korver, he's needed as a player to space the floor, he's the only knock down shooter on the Bulls. If anything I'm keeping Taj and Asik, and I'm looking to send a 1st, and maybe a future 2nd along with Butler.

Memphis is stacked at the SG position, so I wouldn't break the bank on him when they've got Sam Young, Xavier Henry, and last years rookie from Maryland, factor in Rudy Gay at the SF spot as well and their wing position is a log jam. Mayo is expendable and I hope we can land him IRL (Bulls fan over here).

A 1st round pick from a good team in the NBA doesnt really hold much weight. This isnt the NFL where every 1st round pick is supposed to a the next star...if ur not top 10 in the draft you dont hold that much weight. OJ Mayo is a big piece of the Grizzlies. If you are thinking REAL life, Korver is not enough, probably Korver and Gibson for him. How much is it worth to you? The Bulls need a 2guard alot more than they need a backup PF that is sometimey on defense.

That's what i did man. I don't feel as if i ripped them off though. Krover + Gibson + 1,2 round picks doesn't sound so bad...i guess.

Deng + picks and maybe even Asik. Not less.
You won't always be the best shooter. You won't always be the best rebounder, or defender, either. What you can always do the best though, is play hard. Once you do that, Everything else will take care of itself.

^ Mayo's PPG PER is higher than Deng, and he plays on a team with much more scorers. His 3pt % is higher (36%>34%), Averages about 1 more steal PER than Deng. Plus he's two years younger, and has much more star potential than Deng. That's the key here, especially in 2k when Mayo has tons of stardom potential. Whereas many view Deng as an upgraded role-player. Mayo still has potential to be an all-star. Deng only beats Mayo in FG%, Reb. but that's b/c he plays closer to the basket.

I'd say Deng + Late 1st rounder + Asik is realistic. Much more than Mayo for role-players.

If you don't want to rip off the stupid trade logic, eventually you're going to have to give up on assets. Giving up on marginal role players for Mayo, is not giving up on assets. It a dagger. In the throat of the Grizzlies.
