Youtube - Use old Embed Code option gone

It seems the option to use the old embed code on YouTube videos has been removed. I have been trying to embed new videos in my Arena and also in my OS blog post and can't get it to work. I used the old embed code for previous posts after reading helpful threads on OS about embedding vids.

YouTube just switch their interface so its possible I am missing something, but it does not appear to be there anymore. How do I embed videos in my Arena and Blog with the new iframe code if the 'old embed code' option is indeed gone?

OK, I will do some digging around in my settings because I am not seeing it on my account. If you found it it has to be something I am missing on my specific account. I will post back when I find something in case someone else runs into the same problem.

Well, I just figured out that any videos I uplaoded after November 23rd time frame do not have the option to use the old embed code. My videos uploaded before that still have the 'use old embed code' option.

Can anyone confirm that new uploads do not have the option? I have another Youtube account I am going to try with an upload. All my vids from that channel are more than a month old and have the option still.

OK, I think I have it figured out although I am still looking into it further. It appears to be an issue with the new format and videos uploaded in side by side format. Side by side is the preferred format of YouTube for videos that people want to convert to 3D using the YouTube 3D converter feature.

The new vid(not 3D) I uploaded to my other YT account had the option for the old embed code. I am now uploading a side by side (3D capable) video to that same account to test it out, but that appears to be the problem.

I have confirmed with someone from YouTube that the 'use old embed code' option is no longer present for 3D videos and also for embedding playlists of any kind(3D or not). It is unclear at this point if YouTube will re-add the option back in, but since late November this has been in effect.

The YT person did give me a workaround for the time being which I will try on my second Blog post soon.
