    Manager arguments in MLB 12?

Is it possible? That would be such a big feature for this year. I would love to press a button and have the manager come and argue a play then get ejected based on the manager's tone and timing.

Its a feature i very much doubt MLB would ever allow to be put in the game, not good for the image, however realistic it may be.

        Didn't 2k have ejections?

I'm almost positive there was a mini-game for ejections in 2k7, but I really haven't played any of the 2k titles much since, so I'm not sure if it's currently in the game.

I've never heard anything about the exclusion of ejections being an image issue. I had always assumed it was one of those things that is probably a little ways down on their wishlist.

Yep 2k7 your manager would run out on a close play. You could press X and the faster you pressed it and ran up the bar, you'd get tossed. It was a nice little feature.

In Baseball, we glorify the managerial ejections. It's a part of the game that is weird in theory, but accepted and it will never change. Old men running around acting like little kids. It's just another reason why baseball is a funny game. But everybody, the fans, the media, talk and rave and show videos of arguments and ejections. There fun, they get the fans pumped up.

That is why the MLB wouldn't want to "hide" it. It wouldn't give baseball a bad image. It's accepted and just as "baseball" as hot dogs, etc. Lol.

I dont see the difference in players being ejected and managers. player ejections are already in the game, so....

I would even take a scenario where we press a button to send the manager out but we don't have any control over the outcome. Ideally it would work like the MVP 05 where you sent the manager out and could belittle the umpire until you got tossed. However if MLB won't allow that just being able to send the manager out and have a talk would be a step in the right direction.

One thought I have is maybe they don't have the time or desire to put in the game what happens once you get tossed. For example, Like MVP the bench coach took over and you had no ability to make pitching changes or PH. This maybe why another reason why it isn't in. SCEA generally doesn't put anything in unless they feel it is perfect.

                Just my 2 cents.

Would be cool if we could argue to the ump with our bluetooth headsets and the game had a voice recogintion system and could tell our tone of voice and the words we were saying and actully program the umpire to talk back to us based on what we were saying on the headset.

Yes, I missed that part of the game. In 2009 the manager would argue the close calls but I have not seen that in 2011.

I mean damn, they show the cut scene of the players running out to the mound to fight the pitcher after we get beaned, why a managerial thing would not be allowed in is beyond me. Maybe they have no time for it.

Who knows, but I would love the simple "get tossed from the game" with a meter mechanic.

                          I would LOVE it.

This feature will play along with umpire replay, hope to see both soon in-game.

It would be great if you can tap say X on a meter and have it fill up to a certain extent. Depending on how the game goes, the ranges are different. There are 3 ranges, one where you press X too much and get ejected and the strike zone shrinks on your players now...one where you press just enough to where the umpire says "alright alright, you got a point, but just go back to the dugout now" and that'll help with strikes and balls (window being a little wider) or a temporary boost in that inning to your player's attributes...and then a 3rd range which is you won't get tossed, but don't bring up any points so your players attributes go down just for that inning.

It'll really help then so that you're not just getting your fat manager to argue EVERY call.
